Huang Ting Waijing Jing – partea a III-a

4 Essence and qi, above and below, regulate the different parts of the body.

One should always meditate on essence and qi so that the upper and lower parts of the body equally guard the One.

When essence and qi are blurred and unsteady, you have to search the mysterious within the mysterious.

5 Once the seven orifices are cleared, you will never see old age.

The seven openings on the head and face are the doors of essence and spirit. When they are opened and cleared, old age will not come.

The ears are open to the five sounds; the eyes can see dark and yellow; the nose receives pure breath; and the mouth can taste the five flavors. This way one will never grow old.

6 Go back and sit, watch the Heavenly gate and regulate yin and yang.

In the morning, eat yang qi; in the evening, yin. Both enter through the mouth.

The Heavenly Gate is the doorway of great yang, of the One. Yin and yang, male and female, are very subtle, almost impossible to perceive. You must meditate upon them.
